Lately, I’ve had a prayer.
Instead of praying for new things to come into my life, my prayer has been that I would see all of the blessings already sitting right in front of me.
The truest form of thankfulness is not a moment. It’s an attitude…a mindset… a lifestyle.
Moving forward from today, I don’t want my thankfulness to be tied to my calendar. Rather, I want it to permeate my perspective.
In place of one day of gratitude, I am working to have eyes of gratitude.
Happy Thanksgiving and God Bless,
Make a joyful noise to the Lord, all the earth! Serve the Lord with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the Lord, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture. Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give thanks to him; bless his name! For the Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever, and his faithfulness to all generations. // Psalm 100:1-5
